January 2020 | Casa Carlos - Clementines

Important update regarding clementine orders grown by Ernesto Escribano's team at Casa Carlos farm.

This clementine season in the entire region of Valencia will be remembered for a long time because of the small harvest. On average, the trees yielded 50% less than they normally do. Although the mood is somewhat sad, there is hope that historically, when a clementine tree is dormant one season (as was the case this year), more will be produced in the next season.

Why is there so little harvest?

Our friends from Naranjas del Carmen explain it very well in this post.

Now, we are in the middle of the orange season 🍊 and we are expecting a more generous harvest. You can order your box of oranges here to receive them within the next few days.
