Local markets encourage the distribution of products from local farming.

During the creation of, and throughout the life of a Local market, the Host selects producers who may operate in organic farming, practise integrated or sustainable farming, may also hold other labels and designations, or even come from conventional agriculture. We are committed to values and an approach that respect nature and living beings, which is why we are committed to transparency across our network. The certifications indicated by producers are verified by us. A producer or artisan who joins the network undertakes to communicate clearly about the products offered, detailing their composition, characteristics, farm of origin and production methods; in particular by completing the online product description sheets as fully as possible. Furthermore, when a sale is underway, you can view only organic products offered in each Local market. To do so, tick the box Culture > Bio in the filters provided.

For more information about the products on offer, you can contact your Host: their role is, in particular, to inform you about the producers in the Local market and their products.  Producers may also be present at distribution events, which is an opportunity for Local market members to ask them questions about the way they work.
