Non-climacteric fruit

Pomegranates stop ripening once harvested from the tree. They are picked at peak physiological maturity so that they arrive ready to enjoy immediately.

Storage & Handling

  • Whole fruit storage: Keep whole pomegranates at room temperature in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place for up to a week. For longer storage, place them in the refrigerator, where the thick protective peel keeps the arils fresh for several weeks.
  • Refrigeration after opening: Once you extract the arils (seeds), store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 to 3 days.
  • Natural skin variations: Because our farmers do not use post-harvest chemical treatments or synthetic waxes, minor surface marks, cosmetic hail scars, or pale skin tones are completely natural and do not affect the juicy arils inside.
